- It started out as beautiful weekend Saturday with sun and warming temperatures making it the perfect day for cruise up to the Rim. However, the mood quickly changed to dank and rainy by Saturday evening when a slow moving storm from the pacific moved in. By Sunday afternoon, it was snowing in Payson and by Monday morning, at least 3 inches of snow had fallen in town and at least 4.5 inches in Pine.
