The Payson Flycasters are once again offering Rim Country residents an introduction to their passion: fly-fishing. The deadline to register for the two-part class is at 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 10. The class will be held March 13 and March 20 at Green Valley Park and is sponsored by the parks department.
Join the Payson Flycasters at the Parks & Recreation office to learn the art of fly-fishing in this two-class series on Saturday, March 13 and Saturday, March 20. The registration deadline is 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 10.
Fly-fishing 101 on March 13 will cover classroom information on fly-fishing basics and history and will meet from 9 a.m. to noon at the Payson Parks and Recreation Office, 1000 W. Country Club Drive.
Fly-fishing 102 on March 20 includes hands-on fishing techniques at Green Valley Lake by the Parks and Recreation Office from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The fee of $10 per person covers registration for both classes, and participants must register in advance at the Payson Parks, Recreation and Tourism Office at 1000 W.
