Once again winter weather has visited the Rim Country. We go back and forth between thanking God for the moisture and wondering if the snow will ever end! My husband said he’s glad he didn’t buy the tomato plants he saw on sale the other day. Of course we all know what a difference a day can make and spring will come sooner or later.

This last week there was a warming trend with mixed snow and rain. Those conditions were enough to accelerate thawing of much of the snow on the upper levels of the Mogollon Rim. The ravines continued to flow at a more rapid rate than before.

Well it looks like Mother Nature is still throwing some random snow storms our way. One day it’s almost shirt weather and the next day you need a jacket. I am fully convinced that for whatever reason, Christopher Creek has its very own unique and “fun” weather pattern.

What is becoming more and more evident is the fact that there are no safe harbors anymore. Two recent stories prove that even the most innocent and seemingly safe applications can invoke harm to your computer … if you aren’t prepared.

The late winter storms have continued to bring massive amounts of snow to the Rim Country, and rain to the lower elevations. Every canyon seems to have a live water flow, and those east of the Beeline Highway eventually drain into Tonto or Canyon Creek and finally into Roosevelt Lake.
