Annual Rim Country Classic Auto show scheduled for April 23

The Rim Country Classic Auto Club, plans for the 17th Annual Beeline Cruise-In and Car Show are in the final stages.
This year’s show will be exciting from start to finish, organizers said. It will start off on Friday, April 23 with registration from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. At 4 p.m. their will be a Cruise-In down Main Street, with a turn north on the Beeline to 260, east on 260 to Tyler Parkway, then north on Tyler Parkway to the roundabout at the Beeline, then south back to Main Street and back to Green Valley Park. There, the fun continues. The Brat Burn will be provided by the Kiwanis Club, desserts by the ladies of the car club, and music provided by Junction 87.
On Saturday, April 24 the day starts with registration for show cars at 8 a.m.
There will be food vendors, cars and rods, and good old-fashioned Rock ’n Roll provided by KCMA FM 98.5 all day.
The awards and door prizes will begin at 3:30 p.m. The grand prize this year is a “Hot Rod BBQ” as seen on TV. The show is free to those who attend, so bring your lawn chairs, the family and enjoy a day in the park, say organizers. Spectator parking is available this year and it is free.
