Payson free tax help site is now open

Payson Community Action Program (CAP) announced today free tax help is available for area residents.
The Payson CAP tax help site is located at 107 W. Frontier St., Suite C. Payson residents can make an appointment by calling Dorine Prine, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed for lunch noon – 1 p.m.) for tax assistance at 474-7192.
“We can help people — especially those who cannot afford paid tax assistance, such as people whose incomes are $50,000 or less; seniors; the disabled and people with English as a second language — prepare and electronically file their 2009 federal and state income tax returns” said Prine, CAP spokesperson.
