I want to take this opportunity to thank all the hard-working Town of Payson employees who have continued to serve our community despite the hardships inflicted on themselves and their families due to the budget shortfalls.
They have a job that often requires sacrifice and always dedication — and with the necessary burden of accepting both the “furlough” days as well as an increase in the cost of their health insurance has placed an additional strain I am sure.
I wanted to voice my opinion that I look forward to their being restored to their full schedules and pay — for both their benefit as well as the benefit of our entire community.
We are blessed to have excellent government employees and they deserve their full wages and then some. I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to each of them.
