Family of fiddlers play final community concert of the season

The Tonto Community Concert Association (TCCA) will lower the curtain on its 2009-2010 season with the Hunt Family Fiddlers — an ensemble of world-ranked Irish dancers and fiery fiddlers — Tuesday, May 11.
The Hunt Family Fiddlers are an award-winning family of Irish step dancers, fiddlers and singers that marvel crowds everywhere. This family of nine performs Celtic, bluegrass, inspirational and popular tunes, offering a unique blend of diversity to every show. Songwriters and performers Clint and Sandy, along with their seven children, Jessica, Jennifer, Joshua, Jonathan, Jordan, Justin and Jamison, have released four albums.
The Hunt Family Fiddlers have performed in Scotland, opened three consecutive years for the Virginia Symphony at the “Symphony Under the Stars” concert, and performed for Queen Elizabeth during her visit to the United States in 2007
The TCCA hosts the Hunt Family Fiddlers at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 11 at the Payson High School auditorium. Non-subscriber tickets are available at the door.
Season ticket subscriptions for the 2010-11 are currently available.
Scheduled to perform are: The Gibson Brothers, with country and bluegrass music, Sept. 20; Daniel Narducci, baritone, Oct. 3; The New Christy Minstrels, Nov. 9; Christiana Pegoraro, pianist, Jan. 26; Celtic Blaze, music, dance and storytelling, Feb. 14; Jim Witter and The Piano Men, March 21; Paul McDermand, percussionist, April 15; and Dallas Brass ensemble, May 13.
The Tonto Community Concert Association is a nonprofit organization that brings high quality concerts to Arizona Rim Country at an affordable price.
