Square Dance Festival is in June

The Zane Grey Twirlers are sponsoring the 30th annual Square and Round Dance Festival June 11 and 12 at the Tonto Apache Recreation Center.
Activities begin Friday night, June 11, at 7 p.m. with pre-round by Barb and Ernie Lopez from Prescott. Square dancing begins at 8 p.m. with caller Mike Seastrom from Tarzana, Calif.
Saturday morning, June 12, begins at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast and welcome dance with guest callers and cuers.
Workshops will be held during Saturday and then pre-rounds start at 7 p.m., followed by the Grand March at 7:45 p.m. Square dancing will begin at 8 p.m.
