All motorcycle riders and their passengers are invited to the annual, free “Blessing of the Bikes” Saturday, May 22 at the Payson United Methodist Church, 414 N. Easy St. The church is located one block behind Ace Hardware and Bison Cove Condominiums.
The event is social and includes coffee and treats beginning at 9 a.m. At 10 a.m., each bike rider and passenger will receive an individual, brief blessing in appreciation of our freedom to ride in God’s creation. After the blessing and time to greet old friends and meet new ones, the group will ride to Heber for lunch at the Red Onion.
The Payson Riders of the Purple Sage are hosting the blessing and will have information about future rides at the event.
Rides are typically held on the third Saturday of the month and leave the Payson United Methodist Parking lot at 9 a.m. Most rides are less than 200 miles round trip, with a stop for lunch and breaks along the way.
