Hello again, fellow Creekers.
The Tall Pines Market is really stepping it up a notch to help members of the community. First they are hosting Memorial Day vendors next door to the market. They already have about six vendors, but are looking for more. The space is free, so if you or someone you know has something to sell, give Sandy a call at (928) 478-4550. She is best reached Monday through Thursday, from 7 a.m. to noon. This will only be a one day event, which is Saturday, May 29, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will also be a community yard sale Saturday, May 29, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Set up starts as early as 7 a.m. and it is free to everyone who wants to participate. The location is just east of the Tall Pines Market on Christopher Creek Loop. To reserve your space, please call Sandy at (928) 478-4550 or for more information on this and other area events, please visit www.ChristopherCreekLoop.com.
After being closed down for over three years, the Grey Hackle Lodge has re-opened its doors. I, along with a couple of investors, decided that the Grey Hackle was a neat part of Christopher Creek history and a natural expansion for Christopher Creek Lodge.
Grey Hackle seems to have had a terrific reputation with its guests, and we are going to do our very best to carry on in that tradition.
For more information on the Grey Hackle, please visit www.GreyHackle.com.
As always, I do need your help with content and stories! For anyone wanting to submit information from the Christopher Creek area for inclusion in our weekly article, please e-mail me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Any submitted pictures must be full-size (typically around 1MB per picture). The cutoff time for inclusion in Friday’s article is close of business on Monday.
Thanks again for reading the column.
