In regards to the town abandoning the poultry law change. I think it’s a shame that so many oppose such a change.
Our economy is borderline depression. Families are struggling to pay bills and put food on the table, many losing their homes.
It’s easy for people to complain about the noise chickens will make. I would rather not deal with it myself. Although, I would not want to tell the family next door that they are not eating breakfast because I don’t want to hear their chickens.
If you don’t think people are going hungry, think again. It’s very selfish and petty to choose your comfort over your neighbors’ ability to feed their families.

Well, when things get worse, as they will, the law will probably be revised.
But until then, let's live it up and ignore the coming collapse!
