The Rim Country Quilt Roundup, a regional quilt show with classes, is being held at the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino Exhibition Hall this weekend.
The quilting celebration enjoys its sixth anniversary this year Nov. 11 through Nov. 14.
The exhibition and vendor booths are open Friday, Nov. 12 through Sunday, Nov. 14, with classes starting Thursday, Nov. 11. Once again the festival of quilting will be held at the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino in Payson.
Teachers are: Nancy Brenan Daniel, Lyn Mann, Gina Perkes, Sharon Schamber, J. Michelle Watts, Margaret Wood and an AQS quilt appraiser.
In addition to the classes, the Quilt Roundup will feature a tremendous display of beautiful quilts and the Hoffman Challenge Special Exhibit, plus there will be a vendor mall to stock up on supplies.
The exhibition is from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 12 and Saturday, Nov. 13, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 14. The awards banquet will be held at the casino at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 13.
Admission is $3 per person, or $2 with a donation of non-perishable food for area food banks. Children 12 and under will be admitted free of charge.
