Thank you to all the community teenagers that attended the Community Prevention Council Teen Halloween Dance.
The dance was a great success. Eighty teens danced the night away to the sounds of DJ Craig, many while their younger brothers, sisters and parents attended the Trunk or Treat event. The food and decorations were a big hit with many dance activities, drawings and a Halloween Contest. The CPC was able to donate three boxes of food drive items to St. Vincent de Paul’s which were collected at entrance to dance.
We want to thank the Senior Center for the use of their facility and Joanne Conlin, director, who was so helpful throughout the event. Many community members provided cupcakes, decorations and chaperone time which was very successful. The CPC Youth Leadership Group performed a drug awareness skit which was well received by all. Rim Guidance Center provided support with staff and administrative services.
Thanks to all for your hard work, time and involvement in a community event which provided fun and entertainment for the teens in our community. We plan on making this an annual event.
