Let People Sell What They Can

One would think that during such hard economic times and people are scrambling to try to make ends meet, there would be more opportunities for people to showcase their products/services to sell and help pay the bills.

I would like to know how many vendors would be interested in having a place to promote and sell their goods and services at least through the holidays to help bring in extra income or in some cases, the only income.

The farmers market ends Oct. 9 due to farmers no longer growing. What about everyone else who still sells things year-round? Times are hard, jobs are difficult to find, people are losing their homes and moving away from Payson because they have to, not because they want to.

Isn’t there a vacant warehouse we can turn into a “park ’n’ swap” or mini on-going trade show that can be a win-win for all?

Let people sell what they can. We need to help each other survive!

Please feel free to share my e-mail. I would love to hear from others who feel strongly about this as well. Perhaps we can work together.

A great idea. I suggested a flea market at the event center when it's not in use by the big events. Good luck. Do it and they will come!
