Small-Town Hospitality

This past weekend, the Payson Airport and Crosswinds Restaurant hosted our regional Grumman-American aircraft fly-in. Despite unsettled weather, 17 aircraft and 29 pilots and guests enjoyed the excellent airport and air-camping facilities at the Payson Regional Airport and the excellent food and service at the Crosswinds Restaurant.

All of these pilots and visitors came from out of town and all now have an excellent impression of your community.

Every single person we came in contact with during our stay in Payson (from Beth Myers, the new airport supervisor, the many Airport Authority members we bumped into as well as Darla Annabel and the friendly staff at the Crosswinds Restaurant) went absolutely out of their way to make sure we had a fun and enjoyable stay in Payson.

As a frequent visitor to airports across the country and a former airport manager myself, I feel qualified to say that the Payson Regional Airport is one of the finest and friendliest airports in the Southwest.

It is truly a credit to the vision of the Airport Authority and your entire community.

We eagerly look forward to our next visit.
