“Edu-tainer” Lynda Murphy will be speaking at the Oct. 27 Lunch and Learn at the Senior Circle. Her topic “Nifty over 50” provides informative tips on how to avoid common make-up, hairstyle and fashion mistakes women make as they age.
“You can’t help getting older, but you don’t have to get old” is a saying made famous by the late George Burns.
With 42 years of speaking experience, Murphy brings warmth and enthusiasm to audiences large and small at conferences, retreats, seminars and special events.
She has been active in the image business for more than 40 years, starting as a model. Her experience led her to open a fashion, modeling and charm school where she developed a self-improvement program and a Christian summer camp for teens.
Dedicating her life to help women and teens overcome a poor self-image, Murphy is the author of Total Image Personal Development Inside and Out and the co-author of Style.
Murphy and her husband live in Payson.
Murphy’s presentation will also include the latest fall fashion trends and how to make your current wardrobe more versatile by adding a jewelry or a scarf, etc.
