The nights have seen a considerable drop in temperature lately. Some nights slightly dipping below the freeze mark.
Many broadleaf trees and annuals are registering this as they are beginning to turn a pale yellow in various local locations most affected.
Some weather forecasts indicate some precipitation may occur during this weekend.
The all-weather track at Mogollon High School is now ready for use. Recently the final layer, fence and stripes were completed. The rubberized surface is weatherproof and allows for shock absorption for runners and makes it possible to compete in most weather conditions with a sure foot.
Work at Capps School in Heber is progressing. Workers recently graded the base for the pavement of the new parking lot. The lot will wrap around the new addition located at the corner of Crandall and Reidhead streets. Construction continues inside on the finish works as well.
