Two Payson residents were arrested at their home Wednesday while a third person was arrested at her work, all on drug-related charges.
Payson Police officers executed a drug offense search warrant at 346 S. Moonlight Drive with the help of the Gila County Sheriff’s Office and the Gila County Narcotics Task Force.
At the home, James Dawkins and Jennifer Smith were arrested for drug-related charges without incident.
Officers went to Cynder Martin’s job and she too was arrested on drug charges, said Payson Police Det. Joshua LaManna.
Detectives with the Special Enforcement Unit located methamphetamine and marijuana along with drug paraphernalia during the search.
The investigation is continuing and detectives are following leads in the case. Detectives may request additional drug-related charges through the county attorney’s office.
Martin and Smith were arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession and use of dangerous drugs and possession and use of marijuana.
Dawkins was arrested on charges of possession and use of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. All three were booked into the Gila County Jail.
