The PAWS organization has some wonderful donations for the Christmas Boutique which will be part of their 14th Annual Chili Supper. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, the group will have some great items for sale and great holiday gifts.
Tickets are now available for the event. The chili supper will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9 at the Elks Lodge, 1206 N. Beeline Highway. The cost of the tickets for this fun and worthwhile event which benefits the homeless animals of Rim Country is still $7 per adult and $4 for children under 12 years of age.
Tickets are available at the Humane Society of Central Arizona, 812 S. McLane Road; the Humane Society Thrift Shop, 404 W. Main St.; Payson Public Library, 328 N. McLane Road; the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce, 100 W. Main St.; and at the door.
As in the past, a meal of chili, macaroni and cheese, salad, rolls and homemade cupcakes will be served. If you can’t stay, pick up a carry-out and enjoy your meal at home.
Come and enjoy a great meal, visit with friends, and listen to the blues played by the five-piece band “Blue Frog.” Adding to the fun will be an amazing boutique, a quilt raffle, 4-Peaks Amethyst ring donated by Payson Jewelers and a gourmet basket with tickets for two for a 30-minute flight over the Mogollon Rim donated by CAVU Aviation, plus a day pass to the Tonto Natural Bridge and more. You need not be present to win.
Also, included in the evening will be a 50/50 and a U-Pic Raffle. There will truly be something for everyone. For further information, contact PAWS member Donna Rokoff, at (928) 472-1542 or Humane Society volunteer, Betty Raveling at (928) 468-7132.
