On Saturday, Oct. 30, Payson High School DECA students will be conducting a canned food drive between 9 a.m. and noon. Students will be going door-to-door to collect cans. There will also be a can drop off at Safeway. The students are hoping to collect more than last year, when they collected 300 pounds. All canned food donations benefit St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank. Payson DECA will also be repeating the “miracle minute” from last year where we had kids from classrooms donate money. Last year we raised $300 dollars, which was donated to the Gracie Lee Haught Foundation and St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank for Thanksgiving turkeys.
