Breakfast for supper
The Community Presbyterian Child Learning Center is sponsoring a delicious sausage and pancake meal complete with mixed fruit and beverage for just $5 from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 3 at 800 W. Main St. Dine in or take out available.
Special local talent will perform and guests may also do some shopping. Homemade jams, jellies and baked goods, afghans/blankets, purses and bags, fine wine jelly and more will be for sale. All proceeds go toward the children’s activities fund.

Gallery anniversary
Artists of the Rim Gallery will celebrate its 4th anniversary in conjunction with First Friday activities on Main Street from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 3. Guest artist Valerie Toliver will have her watercolors on display in the gallery and give free demonstrations outside. There will be music by Brooks & Yoder, plus M&B’s Hot Dogs.
Thrift shop sale
The Humane Society Thrift Shop will be celebrating First Friday, Sept. 3, with a half price sale on all regular clothing.
In addition, root beer floats will be served from 5 to 8 p.m.
All proceeds benefit the Humane Society animal shelter.
Fry Bread For Families
Sponsored by Mazatzal Hotel & Casino, Tonto Apache Tribal Enterprises and its employees are having fry bread sales to raise funds for families from the Payson community. The next sale is planned from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7. For just $5 get fry bread, with a choice of toppings, and a drink.
