Once again, it’s time for the 2010-11 fall/winter bowling leagues. RCL has leagues starting up Monday through Friday and we have plenty of spots available. Monday is our 9-pin no-tap league which is open to anyone. On Tuesday mornings we have our Alley Cats women’s league and later that evening we have the Elks and Friends mixed league. The Payson Men’s League is on Wednesday night, which is switching from five-man to four-man format. Thursday afternoons is our Super Seniors mixed league, and later that night is the NASCAR/ Have-a-Ball-Your-Way League. On Friday mornings, we have a new league to offer to the public. It’s the Early Bird League and we will still be offering the Early Bird rate for open play on that day. Saturday, Sept. 11, the youth league will be starting. So come on parents, let’s get the kids involved in some Saturday fun.
If you have any questions, please call me at 474-9589 or 468-2429.

‘Bowling with Leverage’ coming to Payson
On Sept. 11 and 12, David Leverage will be offering one hour private lessons to local bowlers. David is a six-time PBA champion and a silver level coach. Recently, David was acknowledged as one of the top 100 coaches in the U.S. There are five spots left for this event. Lessons can be set up through Rim Country Lanes. A special thanks to Don Coombs for putting the effort into having this great two-day event for our local bowlers.
Rim Country Lanes is proud to present the Mega Monsoon Tournament on Sept. 18 and 19. It’s a handicap, singles event with qualifying squad, taking place all day Saturday and two, last chance, squads on Sunday. The finals will take place Sunday afternoon. We are also offering special qualifying squads for our league bowlers. They will be able to use their league scores to qualify for the finals. There will be three average divisions, plus a women’s division for this tournament. We hope to have a great field of bowlers for this event. We have already had bowlers from all across northern Arizona and Valley bowlers sign up. Thank you to all of our sponsors for this event. They are Big O Tires, Chili’s Grill, Lefty’s Korner, Ace Hardware, Wick’s Auto and Diesel, Walmart, and Budweiser. You guys are awesome!
