Hello again, fellow Creekers.
Mike Jelinek of the Tall Pines Market has officially opened up a new rental side of the business. He has some terrific quads that he rents out as well as bicycles and he may possibly be adding other popular rental items as well.
I am certain all of the community folks and Christopher Creek guests alike will really like the fact that there are more things to do up here.
Creekside Restaurant will have its annual Cinco de Mayo celebration event Saturday, May 7.
Last year was a really fun time and they plan to have another great event this time around. There will be a chili cook-off and the fun of picking horses in the race. If you bring chili to enter into the contest, you get to try all the chili you want for free. For those not participating in the cook-off, a small $3 fee will allow you to sample all of the contestants’ chili.
Know your neighbor
Don’t be shy! While at the Creekside be sure to fill out the super easy and fun “Better know your neighbor” questionnaire. Once you fill these out if you’ll hand them in to Creekside personnel they will get them to me and I’ll do my best to make you famous!
As always, I do need your help with content and stories! For anyone wanting to submit information from the Christopher Creek area for inclusion in our weekly article, please e-mail me at: email@example.com. Any submitted pictures must be full-size (typically around 1MB per picture). The cutoff time for inclusion in Friday’s article is close of business on Monday.
Thanks again for reading the column.
