Arizona Highways Magazine freelance photographer, Bernadette Heath announces the release of her fifth book, Grandma Needs a Four-Wheel Drive, Adventure Travel for Seniors.

Heath teamed up with writer Janet Webb Farnsworth 15 years ago and produced stories of humor, excitement and adventure for not only Arizona Highways Magazine but other travel magazines and newspapers. Now the team of writer and photographer has retold a few of their more hair-raising episodes in this carry-along book of adventure travel for seniors.

There are bear encounters, kisses from giraffes, recue by train, peeks at restricted cliff dwellings, white water rafting, survival training, horse camping, canoeing lessons, a lot of getting lost and more, all done with a great sense of humor and a lot of laughs.

Grandma Needs a Four-Wheel Drive has more than just the telling of campfire stories. The reader can join in on all 15 adventures retold in the book, by taking advantage of the contacts listed that would provide similar experiences only on safer turf.

Heath is a resident of Star Valley. As a member of the Payson Art League, she will have all five of her books on sale along with award-winning photographs of her work, at Studio #6 in the upcoming Payson Art League Studio Tour, May 13 through May 15.
