This is one of the original Mustangs. It was introduced April 17, 1964 and this car was manufactured in Detroit in June of that year. It is a rare Poppy Red in color, 289 V8 with 4 barrel carb and a factory installed Borg-Warner four-speed transmission (only three of these came out). It is all original with 65,000 documented miles. The Gundersons have the complete history of the car, including original window sticker and the first owner’s purchase contract. It received a national first place medallion award from the Antique Auto Club of America at its Spring Meet in Gainesville, Fla. in 2005. The fabulous car still drives beautifully and the body is as straight as an arrow.
