Tea Party Republicans Give Reader A Voice In Washington

Regarding the letter by Wendy Trainor, I take issue with almost every point in her letter.

First of all, if she wants to complain about job creators moving jobs overseas, how about starting with General Electric, whose CEO Jeffrey Immelt is on Obama’s jobs council, moving its X-ray business to China. This is what happens when Democrats put regulations on businesses that make it more difficult to do business in the United States.

Secondly, Republicans are not trying to destroy Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. What they are saying is that these are broken, and if they are not fixed, they won’t be there for us when we get older.

The Democrats have done a great job of fooling the American people for the last 40 years, and for the first time in my life, I feel like I finally have a voice in Washington with the Tea Party Republicans.

I would like to ask Wendy one question. If government continues to spend money like drunken sailors, will the pain of our overspending be less as the debt gets more out of control? I know the answer — and I would rather take my medicine now so that my kids don’t have to deal with this and can be more prosperous than me.
