The Friday, Aug. 12 Woodhill Homeowners meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the meeting room of the Payson Public Library.
Unity of Payson and Daily Word Readers
Celebrate Unity of Payson, which is now an official church affiliated with Unity Worldwide Ministries. Services are planned to start this fall. In the meantime, the public is invited to attend these continuing events:

Tai Chi and Qigong
Tai Chi and Qigong classes are offered at 9 a.m. Saturdays at the Rim Country Health and Retirement Community, 807 W. Longhorn Road.
The program is especially designed for seniors 50 or older, but is beneficial for all ages. There is no charge, but donations are accepted.
Aglow Baby Shower for New Beginnings
Aglow will have its annual Baby Shower for the New Beginnings Pregnancy Crisis Center from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Aug. 13 at Crossroads Fellowship Hall, 114 E. Cedar Lane, Payson.
The current director, Amy Plunkett, who has been involved with New Beginnings for seven years, will be the speaker. All attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped baby gift or donation. Come support this vital service to our community. Light refreshments will be available.
Overeaters Anonymous meets from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays at the Rim Country Health & Retirement Community, 807 W. Longhorn Road, Payson. (After turning in driveway, turn right at first driveway. OA meets in the Community Room in the center of the facility’s apartment complex.)

Library Friends of Payson
The Library Friends of Payson will host a Celebration Meeting and Potluck at the Payson Public Library at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 15.
Speakers will include those involved with events that took place during the Smithsonian Key Ingredients Exhibit at the Payson Library this summer.
The business meeting is at 10 a.m., with the presentations starting at 10:30 a.m., followed by a potluck luncheon.

Making Life Better, a pain management support group, meets from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Monday, excluding holidays, at the lobby of the Grant Clinic, 903 E. Highway 260, Payson. All are welcome to attend the free program.
