One of Payson’s most prominent community members and realtors was senteced Monday for possessing child pornography.
Superior Court Judge Peter Cahill imposed the minimum sentence, sending Robert Thomas Flibotte, 73, to prison for 90 years on nine counts of dangerous acts against children.
Flibotte’s attorney Michael Bernays indicated Flibotte will likely appeal the ruling and may ask the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency for a sentence reduction.
