The 31st Annual Labor Day Arts & Crafts Festival takes place Saturday, Sept. 3 and Sunday, Sept. 4 at the Pine Community Center, just 13 miles north of Payson on Highway 87.

The 31st annual Labor Day Arts & Crafts Festival, sponsored by the Pine-Strawberry Arts & Crafts Guild, will take place at the Pine Community Center, just 13 miles north of Payson on Highway 87 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 3 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 4.

The festival features more than 80 arts and craft booths with all original, juried, handcrafted items by many wonderful, Arizona artisans. There will be lots of food booths, Navajo tacos by the Pine Senior Center and a pancake breakfast hosted by the Strawberry/Pine Fire Department. There will be clowns, face-painting and a playground for children. The Arts & Crafts Guild Boutique will be open where visitors can meet local artists and crafters and see their work.

Proceeds above the cost of event expenses are donated to nonprofit agencies to meet the ever-increasing needs in our community during this difficult economic time.
