Kevin Dick Investment Management Group of Payson is participating in Chemo Caps for Kids.

The initiative is sponsored by Commonwealth Cares Fund Inc., a charity founded by Kevin Dick Investment Management Group’s broker/dealer, Commonwealth Financial Network.

Chemo Caps for Kids provides hand-knit hats to children undergoing cancer treatment.

“In 2010, Chemo Caps for Kids donated more than 250 hats to hospitals in both Boston and San Diego,” said Wayne Bloom, CEO of Commonwealth Financial Network. “After seeing the impact we made on the little heads — and hearts — of these kids, not to mention on our own, we’re excited to spread the word, broaden our efforts and set our sights even further.”

Chemo Caps for Kids has set a goal of donating 1,000 hats this year.

The management group is actively participating in the creation of these caps and invites Payson to join the effort.

Details on the initiative, recommendations, and knitting how-tos can be found on Kevin Dick Investment Management Group’s Web site at www.kevindick img.com.
