Payson Area Computer Association meeting
The Payson Area Computer Association will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2 in the meeting room of the Payson Public Library.
There is always good information including a question and answer session. The first meeting is always free. Membership is only $10 per year, per family.

Ponderosa Men’s Breakfast
Another fabulous “Breakfast for a Buck” will be served at Ponderosa Bible Church, 1800 N. Beeline Highway, at 8 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3.
Kevin Ritter and his team will prepare breakfast, while the featured speaker will be Ed Warwick. He will share amazing and humorous stories about sharing Jesus with others.

American Legion Riders
The American Legion Riders December meeting is at Tiny’s Restaurant Saturday, Dec. 3. Breakfast is at 9:15 a.m., with a business meeting to follow at 10 a.m.
The agenda will include continuing discussion for recognition of contributors to last year’s Fun Run for Payson Supply Line and planning for the 2012 Fun Run, May 12, 2012 at the American Legion Post #69.

Mesa minister is guest of Unity of Payson
The Rev. Julianne Lewis of Interfaith CommUNITY in Mesa will be the guest speaker at Unity of Payson at 10 a.m., Sunday, Dec 4.

Pain management support group
Making Life Better, a pain management support group, meets from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Monday, excluding holidays, at the lobby of the Grant Clinic, 903 E. Highway 260, Payson. All are welcome to attend the free program.

Pine Library Friends
The Pine Library Friends will meet at noon, Monday, Dec. 5 at the Library Activity Room, located right behind the Cultural Hall in Pine for its annual Christmas Potluck. Bring a friend and a favorite dish to share. Plates and utensils will be furnished as well as beverages.
In light of the holiday spirit, please bring a boxed cake mix and a can of frosting to be donated to the Pine/Strawberry food bank for them to include in the Christmas boxes that will be given to the less fortunate.
Friendship Bible Class
Friendship Bible Class, formerly Friendship Coffee, a non-denominational Bible study for women, meets at 1 p.m. every Tuesday at Uptown Espresso. All women in the community are invited.

The Zane Grey Kiwanis and its Young Professionals group invite anyone interested in learning more about the organizations, which are dedicated to helping Rim Country children, to attend one of the meetings.

The December meeting of the Daughters of the American Revolution will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9 at the Payson Public Library. This will be the chapter’s annual Christmas Potluck Luncheon. The special speaker for this meeting will be Alice Natale and her program title is “Story Teller.”

Book Club organizing
A new Book Club is organizing. It is free and open to all, with refreshments served or bring your own.
The plan is to meet from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month at the conference room of the Coldwell Banker office, 715 S. Beeline Highway, starting Dec. 21.
The first book to be discussed is Elizabeth Strout’s “Olive Kitteridge.” The book to be discussed Jan. 18 is “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins.
