Card players wanted
The Saving Graces of Payson — a Canasta card-playing group — is looking for a few ladies who enjoy fun, laughter and friendship.
This Red Hat group meets at 10 a.m. the first Wednesday of every month at the Chaparral Pines dining room.
Anyone interested in joining will be welcomed. You do not need to know how to play, the members will be happy to teach the game.

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group
The Desert Southwest Chapter cordially invites caregivers, families, service providers and members of the community to attend the Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group meeting at Payson Senior Center, 514 W. Main St., from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. the first and third Wednesdays of each month starting Dec. 7.
The key is to walk away with skills to support caregivers of a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

Soup Supper and Advent Services
The congregation of Mount Cross Lutheran Church invites members of the community to join in its Advent services at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 7 and Dec. 14.
There will be a soup supper at 5 p.m., with a small donation requested for the food, followed by the Advent service.
The soup suppers are held in the log building, with the services taking place in the sanctuary.
Mount Cross is at 600 E. Highway 260, just east of Safeway.
Rim Country Cowboy Church
The Rim Country Cowboy Church meets at 6 p.m. every Wednesday at Star Valley Baptist Church, 4180 E. Highway 260, Star Valley. The service includes live music by the Country Gospel Misfits.

Midweek Advent Services will be held at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, 507 W. Wade Lane, Payson, in preparation for celebrating the birth of Jesus.

Breast Cancer Support Group “Reaching Out” will be hold its annual Christmas Potluck at its regular second Thursday meeting time, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Dec. 8, at Mount Cross Lutheran Church, 601 E. The December meeting of the Daughters of the American Revolution will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9 at the Payson Public Library.
