Payson Community Kids Party Is Sunday, Volunteers Needed

Rim Country residents in need of a lift into holiday spirits can get it at the Payson Community Kids Christmas party starting at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18 at the Payson United Methodist Church, 414 N. Easy St.

If you would like to volunteer for this event, call Jamie at (928) 978-1547 and help many of the area’s children receive a wonderful party with food, fun and gifts.

As part of the festivities, the 2011 award ceremony and the 2011 Kids Choice Awards will be presented and the children will be singing Christmas carols.

Area residents can get a 2011 Arizona state income tax credit by making a donation to Payson Community Kids.

Donations are eligible for tax credits because Payson Community Kids provides assistance with food, clothing, medical and dental help to economically disadvantaged children and their families. Individuals and couples who itemize their deductions on their taxes get a reduction on their tax liability dollar for dollar, up to $200 for an individual and $400 for a couple.

For more information, call Suzy at (928) 978-3256.
