Birth of Rock ’n Roll
Join the Rim Country Literacy Program’s The Birth of Rock ’n Roll benefit from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 12 at Uptown Espresso in the Swiss Village.
Ray Baxter will lead this blast from the past. Relive the early days of Rock ’n Roll with rare video clips, a trivia contest and lots of terrific music.
Fabulous Fifties food is included in the $15 donation. Seating is limited, so get tickets early.
Tickets may be purchased at the Payson Roundup, Payson Regional Medical Center Senior Circle, Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Uptown Espresso or from RCLP board members and at the RCLP office.

The members of the Payson United Methodist Church invite residents of the Rim Country to a Valentine’s dinner at 5 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 13. Enjoy a catered dinner, entertainment and silent auction at the church, 414 N. Easy St. for $20 per person. Tickets must be purchased by Feb. 9.
Proceeds benefit mission projects locally, as well as a sister church in San Luis Colorado, Mexico. Among the local projects are the food banks in Payson and Pine, Time Out Shelter, Payson Helping Payson, Habitat for Humanity, Community Kids and New Beginnings.
