The annual Women’s Wellness Forum is a rite of spring in the Rim Country and it is returning in March.
The 13th Annual Women’s Wellness Forum is Saturday, March 12 at the Payson High School campus.
This year’s theme is Women’s Health —it’s Not Rocket Science. Mesa resident and internationally known humor therapist Elaine M. Lundberg is making a return engagement as the keynote speaker for the event with the topic, “Laughter — the duct tape that can help hold you together!”
Lundberg’s talk is specifically designed to help participants use positive humor to overcome concerns about the little things that are causing stress in life. Her talk will show the healthy things that happen to the body with a hearty belly laugh.
Following the keynote address, participants can choose to attend any of 12 breakout sessions focused on women’s health.
The Women’s Wellness Forum is from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 12. There is a $10 registration fee and scholarships are available for those in financial need. For more information, call 472-2588.
