Just Build A Ferry System

Editor:

Instead of spending over $200 million for a bridge, why not just build a ferry system? They still use them in parts of the country.

Some are boats, and some are mechanical. I’d be willing to bet one could be built for a million or less. It would take longer to cross for sure, but at least it could be done.

In the Seattle area they haul cars and people still.

In these times when money is so tight, I think it is a reasonable solution.
