The Loyal Order of the Moose meetings are at 6 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month.
The lodge has a Thursday Fish Fry from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and weekly dinner specials are available.

Teen meetings set by AA and NA
There are now 12 Step meetings for teens. Narcotics Anonymous will be Tuesdays from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. Alcoholics Anonymous will be Thursdays from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Both will be at Arizona’s Children Association, 900 N. Beeline Highway, Suite B.

Rim Country Optimist Club (Friends of Youth) works in a variety of ways to help youth of the community through benefit events, activities and financial support.
The general meeting is held on the fourth Wednesday, with dinner at 5:30 p.m. and often includes a speaker at 6 p.m.
The next meeting will be Wednesday, Feb. 23. Peggy Miles, principal of Payson Education Center will be talking about her school. Meetings are held at the Crosswinds Restaurant at the Payson Airport.

TOPS Chapter 373 meets at Shilow Christian Fellowship Hall, 502 E. Rancho Road every Thursday. Weigh-in starts at 7:20 a.m., with the meeting at 8:30 a.m.

Republicans to meet
The Rim Country Republican Club will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, Feb. 28 at Tiny’s Family Restaurant.
Come at 11 a.m. to order lunch and socialize; at 11:30 a.m. there will be a business meeting and at noon a speaker. Tom Loeffler will update members on the Gila Community College independence issue and the next steps needed to influence the Arizona Senate to vote for SB 1213. All are welcome to attend.

This group has no dues, no elections, and no couples.
The Tuesday Morning Breakfast Bunch meets every week at Tiny’s Restaurant at 9 a.m.

Apply for Art League’s Open Studio Tour
Applications are now being accepted for artists wishing to participate in the Payson Art League’s annual ’Neath the Rim Open Studio Tour, which is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 13, 14, 15.
Local artists open their studios to the public to allow the public to meet the artist in their own environment and to learn about the creative process.

High Country Garden Club
High Country Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 3 at First Southern Baptist Church.
The special speaker will be Eric Moore of Jay’s Bird Farm in Prescott whose topic will be Bringing Wild Birds to Your Backyard. Moore’s power point program will include tips on landscaping and creating a natural habitat which will attract birds and butterflies to your yard.

The Gospel Kids Club to meet once a month
Girls and boys, 7 and older, are invited to join The Gospel Kids Club from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. the first Friday of each month at Uptown Espresso, 612 N. Beeline Highway, Payson.
Participants in this new non-denominational group will learn from Bible stories, games and fun activities, plus be provided with snacks. Parental permission is required and parents are welcome to attend.

Computer group hosts author
The Payson Area Computer Association meets at 6:30 p.m., Friday, March 4 in the meeting room at the Payson Public Library.
Abby Stokes, author of Is This Thing On? will be the guest speaker. Her book will be available for $15.
