Hospice Compassus of Payson is offering a six-week grief support seminar entitled “Life after Loss,” according to Mary Jane Rogers, executive director.
The seminar is scheduled for Tuesday afternoons from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., beginning Feb. 22, and it will be held at the Hospice Compassus office at 511 S. Mud Springs Road.
“The seminar is designed to help people identify natural responses to grief, identify ways of coping with loss, and explore ways to experience new beginnings; and it fosters an ongoing network of support through group participation,” said Janine Affeldt, bereavement coordinator at Hospice Compassus.
Life after Loss is offered as a public service by Hospice Compassus and will be held for six consecutive Tuesdays, Feb. 22 through March 29. There is no fee, however, space is limited. To register or learn more about the seminar, call Janine Affeldt at (928) 472-6340.
