Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob a Bank of America customer as the customer used the drive up ATM Sunday.
According to police, a woman drove up to the ATM, at 213 S. Beeline Highway, around 7:20 p.m. A man, described as being in his late teens to early 20s with his face covered, walked up, pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The man left on foot without any money. The man, perhaps frightened or having a change of heart, fled from the area. Police officials said they are unsure what caused the man to flee.
