Fibromyalgia is topic
Dr. Lisa York will be the guest speaker at the Senior Circle Lunch and Learn Wednesday, Jan. 26. The event is at 11 a.m., is free and a light lunch is served.
York will be speaking on fibromyalgia, but even if you are not interested in that particular subject, you will want to come and meet this guest. York has a very interesting background and though she practices medicine in Pine, many Payson residents make the 15-minute drive to be assured of a very thorough and complete exam.
Fibromyalgia affects the muscles and soft tissue. Symptoms include chronic pain in the muscles, fatigue, sleep problems and painful and tender spots at central points of the body. Fibromyalgia symptoms can be relieved through medication, lifestyle changes, stress management and other fibromyalgia treatment.
York will be talking about symptoms and solutions.
This event is not limited to only Senior Circle members. Anyone who would like more information on fibromyalgia is invited to attend.
To reserve a spot, please call (928) 472-9290.
