The Humane Society Thrift Shop has moved.
It is now located at 501 W. Main Street, Suite B, on the south side of the street in a bigger and brighter space.
More room means it is easier to browse the shop’s collection of new and used treasures, including clothing, housewares and decorative items.
There is an entire room devoted to books and another designated the “Man Cave.”
There is a little bit of everything with new merchandise filling the shelves each day.
Shoppers can still expect to see a “donation dog” roaming the aisles. Every time someone puts a donation in a vest the dog wears, the dog gets a tasty treat.
And friendly volunteer staff will help shoppers find just the right item at the right price. The valued and dedicated customers, donors and volunteers have made the thrift shop a crucial source of funds to support the Humane Society of Central Arizona.
The shop is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Donations of new or gently used items are accepted during business hours.
Call if pick up of larger donations is needed.
