Red Flag warnings and a Fire Weather Watch have plagued our weather outlook this week.
A cold 25 degree temperature mark assisted in creation of an inversion that occurred Tuesday morning in our area from fires distant.
This served as a reminder of fire season that has started and usually occurs at this time of year until summer rains arrive. According to the National Weather Service, critical fire weather conditions are occurring or are imminent. Low relative humidity is dipping into the 5- to 12-percent region in the afternoons and no precipitation is predicted in the near future outside of a slight chance on Sunday night. Increased temperatures are predicted this weekend with highs around 76 degrees and lows at or around 45 degrees.
