Tai Chi and Qigong
Tai Chi and Qigong classes are offered at 9 a.m. Saturdays at the Rim Country Health and Retirement Community, 807 W. Longhorn Road.
The program is especially designed for seniors 50 or older, but is beneficial for all ages. There is no charge, but donations are accepted.
Payson Center for Spiritual Awareness
Payson Center for Spiritual Awareness is located at 107 W. Wade Lane, Payson. The Sunday Service is at 11 a.m. The speaker for March 13 is Shiranda Deerwoman, “Spiritual Love is the Law of Love.”
Payson Area Singles
The group has no dues, elections or couples. Its upcoming activities include:
• The second Sunday of the month (March 13), at 4 p.m., members attend the Sports Sunday Dinner at the Elks Lodge.
• The Tuesday Morning Breakfast Bunch meets at 9 a.m. every week at Tiny’s Restaurant.
• A St. Patrick’s Day activity is planned for Thursday, March 17. Members who want to carpool to Cliff Castle Casino in Camp Verde will meet at Home Depot at noon. Wear green and Cliff Castle Casino will give you $15. Dinner is $8. The cost of gas will be at least $10 per person. The casino is awarding three $200 Hot Seats per hour.
• The car pools for the Friday, March 18 ride in dome car on the vintage Copper Spike Train in Globe will leave from the Sawmill Theatres upper parking lot at 9 a.m.

Overeaters Anonymous meets from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays at the Rim Country Health & Retirement Community, 807 W. Longhorn Road, Payson. (After turning in driveway, turn right at first driveway. OA meets in the Community Room in the center of the facility’s apartment complex.)

Photography and Camera Club
The Rim Country Photography and Camera Club will have a guest speaker at its monthly meeting Monday, March 14. David Halgrimson is a Friends of Arizona Highways photo workshop volunteer photographer. “Being a Friends of Arizona Highways volunteer and what I have participated in” will be Halgrimson’s topic.

Rim Area Gardeners
Rim Area Gardeners meet at 7 p.m., the second Monday of each month at the Church of Christ, 401 E. Tyler Parkway, Payson. This month, March 14, the speaker will be from Home Depot. The subject will be “Tools and Other Helpful Items for the Garden.”
The public is welcome to join the group and learn the correct tools for the job and how to use them. Plus there might be unique ways to use a tool that you haven’t thought of and if you have a special tool that you use in a special way, please bring it along and explain.
Refreshments will be served.
The Manifesting Abundance Group meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Payson Center for Spiritual Awareness, 107 W. Wade Lane.
The group will focus and intend for all sorts of abundance — physical and emotional well being, joy in relationships, true love and financial security. Join and learn how to create what you desire.

Teen meetings set by AA and NA
There are now 12 Step meetings for teens. Narcotics Anonymous will be Tuesdays from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. Alcoholics Anonymous will be Thursdays from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Both will be at Arizona’s Children Association, 900 N. Beeline Highway, Suite B.

Genealogy Society needs donations
The Northern Gila County Genealogical Society is accepting donations for its annual yard sale. The Society is a tax-exempt, nonprofit corporation, therefore all donations are tax deductible.
Please drop off donations at the Genealogy Library, 302 E. Bonita St., during regular business days and hours. The library is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday through Saturday.
