Country Needs To Break Its Dependence On Foreign Oil

With all the unrest in the Middle East ultimately driving up the price at the pump here in the U.S., I think it is easy to see why we need to break our dependence on foreign sources of oil.

It makes no sense to continue to rely on countries who may very well dislike us, especially when we have the resources here to help meet our growing demand. I sincerely hope that our leaders in Congress take a good, hard look at how these high gas prices are affecting the middle class, and become more open to satisfying our energy needs domestically.
