Creekside Steakhouse Under New Ownership

Hello again, fellow Creekers.

The next fire department board meeting is April 11 at 6 p.m. If you have not attended a meeting, you really should. Anyone from the community is encouraged to attend. This is your fire department.

The Creekside Steakhouse and Tavern is under new ownership. Well sort of. Gene Bettenncort has been the owner before and is now back at the operating post. Rhea and Carol, both Creekside veterans (and terrific people) are undertaking the day-to-day management and making sure customers are happy.

Also, the annual Christopher Creek Ladies’ Jammie Party will be at 5 p.m., Friday, March 25. The meeting place is 928 Columbine, which is the second house west of the “car wash.” Bring your favorite appetizer and of course wear your PJ’s. As always, the party will continue on later at the Creekside Steakhouse. For more information, please call Karen Thornton at 928-478-4133 or Rhea Hoedl at 928-478-0381.

As always, I do need your help with content and stories! For anyone wanting to submit information from the Christopher Creek area for inclusion in our weekly article, please e-mail me at: Any submitted pictures must be full-size (typically around 1MB per picture). The cutoff time for inclusion in Friday’s article is close of business on Monday.

Thanks again for reading the column.
