Thrift store sale in Pine

The Pine/Strawberry Thrift Store, 3916 N. Highway 87 in downtown Pine, will have a bag sale of all clothing, belts and hats for $1 a bag from March 23 through March 26. New spring and summer garments will be put on display following the bag sale. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

Gosar staff in Payson

U.S. Congressman Paul Gosar’s staff will be holding office hours in Payson next week. Staff will be able to provide help with federal agencies and answer questions. 

Gosar staff will be at the Gila County Supervisors Office, 610 E. Highway 260, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, March 24.

Enjoy an evening of live acoustic music featuring tunes from different genres that blend early pop ballads, Dixie, jazz and even some country.

Guitarist and vocalist Joanie Smith-Reynolds will be teaming up with guitarist and vocalist Dale Knighton, along with drummer Gerry Reynolds in a single Payson performance.

This special concert will be at 7 p.m., Friday, March 25 at the East West Exchange, 100 N. Tonto St., Payson. A $10 donation at the door is requested. Advanced tickets may be purchased at the venue. Seating is limited to 70. An RSVP can be sent to gerry-reynolds@hotmail.com.
