Info: Participants must bring personal GPS unit with the following capabilities —  tracking, mapping, navigation, trip computer, new batteries in unit, replacement batteries and GPS computer cable.

After School Youth Archery

Registration: through March 31

Date: April 5 through April 28

Time: 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Ages: 9 years or older, and in the fourth-grade or higher

Place: First class at Parks and Recreation Conference Room. Remaining classes will be held at Frontier Elementary School multi-purpose room.

Fee: $30 per person.

Rim Country Optimist Club — Kids Fishing Festival

Date: April 9

Time: 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Place: Green Valley Park

Fee: Free registration

Payson Event Center 7D Barrel and Pole Series

Wednesday nights starting April 20

Parks, Recreation and Tourism will be sponsoring this equestrian event.

Books open at 4:30 p.m.

Time only run from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Competition starts at 6 p.m.

Fees: $3 per run; entry fee is $8 per event; side jackpot $5, with 50 percent payout. Jackpot participants must pay jackpot fee in cash.
