Showcase Was A Success

The 19th Annual Business Showcase presented 61 separate businesses to the 800 paying customers and several hundred exhibitors and volunteers. The Showcase, exhibiting over a two-day period, allowed both locals and visitors to meet with and discuss details of businesses with owners, managers and volunteers. This was done at the largest venue in Rim Country, the Mazatzal Casino, which provides a professional backdrop for the wonderful displays that were created by our exhibitors.

The Showcase is the work of many volunteers, who work with the exhibitors to create the inviting and attractive booths where businesses exhibit their goods and services. Without the help of volunteers such as Judy Smith, Pat Johnson, Marty Putnam, Fred Eckel, Janet Farrington, Cathy Boone, Gary Klein, Elaine Putnam, John Wakelin, Beth Myers and volunteer/exhibitors like Robert Caldwell, and many others, we could not hold this event. The assistance of the Chamber Ambassadors at the Chamber Mixer and the variety of ribbon cuttings, Business Buzzes and other meetings has also been invaluable.

We are already planning the 20th Annual Business Showcase, using the experiences from this year to make it a better Showcase for the 100th Anniversary of the State of Arizona.
