Payson Care Center Presents Educational Series


Over the next few weeks, Payson Care Center, 107 E. Lone Pine Drive, is planning a series of educational programs. Scheduled to be presented are:

Joint Protection, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, June 2, the Majestic Rim Community.

Learn effective techniques to protect and strengthen aging joints. This class is taught by licensed physical and occupational therapists. Light Refreshments will be served.

Alzheimer’s Support Group, 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, Payson Care Center.

This group is open to families and friends of those suffering from memory loss. The group is led by licensed social worker, Jo Sanders.

Myofascial Release Therapy, 2 p.m., Thursday, June 9, Payson Senior Center.

Fascia is the web of connective tissues that “ties” our bodies together. Myofascial Release treats pain by gently stretching and moving fascia to restore movement. This treatment may be covered under your Medicare or insurance benefits.
