In regards to the mayor and town council for agreeing with the minority in allowing the original zoning to be overturned from two-acre parcels to one-acre parcels, off Tyler Parkway, so that the Underwoods can build more houses — that is just wrong and sad. They knew the zoning laws when they first purchased the land, why did they change their minds? And even sadder is that our mayor and town council, with the exception of Ed Blair, let the minority wants rule over the majority rights. Even though we do not live in the area and thus will not be affected by the re-zoning, we will keep this in mind when the mayor and council are up for re-election.
